Sterling silver pendant and chain.
This is a pendant cast from a real leaf which fell from one of the famous Holy Thorns of Glastonbury. Said to have been generated from the rooted staff of Joseph of Arimathea, these trees flower twice a year: at Christmas and at Easter. The trees are revered even today by pilgrims and locals alike. You can read more about these remarkable trees here: http://www.sallynorth.com/blog and here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glastonbury_Thorn.

This leaf came from the gardens of Glastonbury Abbey

It measures 35 x 20 (widest) x 1 mm.
The sterling silver chain is 44 cms long, but can be adjusted on request. It is a weighty belcher chain with a small lobster clasp.
